Woman accused of ruthlessly attempting to seize Graceland and extort Elvis Presley's family

Before she passed away last year, Lisa Jeanine Findley, 53, of Kimberling City, allegedly told lies to the police about how Presley's daughter had taken out a $3.8 million loan from a fictitious private lender and had offered Graceland as security.

According to authorities, she then threatened to sell Graceland to the highest bidder if the family of Elvis Presley did not pay a $2.85 million settlement.

According to the prosecution, Finley created loan paperwork, pretended to be three separate persons connected to the fictitious lender, and sent a phoney foreclosure notice advertising Graceland's auction in May to a Memphis newspaper. Following a lawsuit from Presley's granddaughter, a court halted the sale.
